Bam

I was excited to see Bambu of the native guns last night, he is an amazing performer and speaker.I was lucky enough to be there thanks to my good friend Zoneil Maharaj of oh dang magazine.

Unfortunately, being a good photographer and open minded avid supporter of all hip hop artists still leaves me quite unnoticed because of my skin color.

but, i will continue to shine as my lens leads me to great things irregardless of my ancestors.

Bam is definitely one of the dopest hip-hop performers--no bullshit, no hype man, entourage or yes men, just his voice and Phatty on the wheels. Not everyone will agree with dude's politics and views, but I think his message is so powerful that cats are still able to feel him despite differing views. Sucks you still gotta bear the burden of your ancestors, but you know they enslaved my peoples too on some indentured servitude shit, right? Fuckin colonialism...I'm really not your "good friend," I'm just waiting to catch you slippin...
